"What is it?" I rushed, interrupting her.
"I still wonder... what you are..." she declared her doubt.
Startled and fearing what would come next, I replied: "Explain yourself."
"Well... " she seemed to be figuring out what she was about to say. "You confuse me. I know you're not fine, and yet you stand there, laughing and smiling. What is behind that mask?" Her words pierced through my mind.
